The current work around (as indicated above) is that I am connecting to the SBM shares on each Mac by manually logging in with the Administrator account (which of course has WAY too much access for the average user).

The internal clocks on the windows servers, mac servers, and windows & mac clients are all in sync.

Network environment is: Windows Server 2003 R2 Mac Server 3.3.3.

So I think this rules out issues with AD user accounts, group policies, etc.

All Mac user accounts can successfully log in to any of our Windows clients and can access the very file shares which are proving inaccessible from the Macs.

(I find this especially odd since it rules out a Mac-to-SMB problem)

Today, attempts to connect from a Mac to any of the Windows servers produces the Login modal (which usually does not appear because the user's credentials are stored in the Keychain Access) and all credentials are rejected EXCEPT the Windows server admin account.

Until today, all mac users have always been able to connect to windows servers using smb://10.0.X.X.

All users here have matching AD and OD accounts (same name and password) there is no AD/OD triangle here.

I'd really appreciate any advice you folks could offer!! Except when I use the Windows network Admin credentials. Today, no Macs are able to connect to any of my Windows shares.
